Craniosacral Therapy

The art of listening beneath the surface

A return to the body’s own wisdom

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on therapy that evolved from osteopathic medicine. It is based on the understanding that the body is guided by an inherent self-healing intelligence, and that subtle rhythmic movements within the craniosacral system reflect the health and organisation of the whole person. These rhythms are associated with the membranes and the cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord, which are closely connected to the nervous system.

Using a light, respectful touch, the Craniosacral therapist listens deeply to these subtle rhythms, noticing areas of tension, restriction, or imbalance. Rather than imposing change, CST supports the body’s own regulatory processes to release tension, calm the nervous system, and reorganise itself in a way that feels safe and sustainable.

Craniosacral Therapy is often experienced as deeply calming and restorative. Many people report improvements in symptoms related to stress, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, headaches, sleep difficulties, digestive issues, and nervous system dysregulation. Sessions are fully clothed and take place in a quiet, supportive environment.

Craniosacral Therapy is suitable for people of all ages — from newborns to the elderly. Each session is unique and unfolds at the body’s own pace, guided by deep listening, presence, and respect for the whole person.

About the Practitioner

I am a fully qualified Craniosacral therapist in London, trained at the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy and registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA) in the UK. I hold an ITEC Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, providing a strong clinical foundation in how the human body works.

I continue to deepen my professional practice through ongoing postgraduate training at the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy, and through further study with world-renowned Craniosacrla Therapy master Etienne Peirsman, allowing my work to evolve and my abilities to expand as a Craniosacral therapist to meet the needs of those I support. I am also currently undertaking training in Chinese Herbal and Nutritional Therapy, which enables me to integrate the wisdom of Tradtiional Chinese Medicine into my therapeutic understanding in a thoughtful and grounded way.

Earlier in my life, I studied Western medical sciences and completed an MPhil in molecular biology and microbiology, gaining a deep understanding of the body at a molecular and systemic level. Alongside this scientific training, my professional background as a theatre artist and movement practitioner shaped my sensitivity to the body, mind, and emotional experience.

Craniosacral Therapy allows me to integrate scientific knowledge, embodied awareness, and lived experience into a holistic approach to healing. Rooted in my East Asian heritage and a wisdom of wholeness that recognises the human being as part of nature and the universe, I offer sessions held with calm presence, deep listening, and care.

Becoming a mother profoundly shaped my work. Having experienced traumatic childbirth, I understand how closely the health of mother and child are connected — physically, emotionally, and energetically. I am particularly passionate about supporting mothers and children of all ages, and, when appropriate, working with mother and baby together in a gentle, safe, and nurturing way.
